Member-Driven Nonprofit 501(c)(3)

The Arizona School Resource Officers Association (ASROA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that trains, educates, and provides resources for school resource officers and school-based safety partners across Arizona.
An SRO is a sworn law-enforcement officer assigned to a school who serves in the triad role of law-enforcement officer, educator, and informal counselor—building safety, trust, and positive relationships on campus.
Membership is open to school resource officers, school safety/security staff, teachers, counselors, probation officers, and allied partners who support safe schools in Arizona.
Yes. ASROA hosts a School Safety Conference each June (e.g., June 16–19, 2025 at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort, Fort McDowell). See the Annual Conference page for current dates and details.
The SSP is a state program in statute (A.R.S. §15-154) that funds SROs/others on campuses. ASROA is a separate nonprofit that provides training and professional support.
